About Us

Guy Bergin     

Guy has over 30 years experience in the IT industry. Initially working on large mainframe systems in the early 1980’s, Guy then in between traveling overseas, worked as a trainee accountant and for a large distribution company.  He then worked for an international software house that specialised in accounting, distribution and manufacturing suite of programs.

It was in the mid 1990’s that Highbourne Solutions Ltd was formed in England providing contracting services to large organisations including Abbey National Building Society & Dixons High Street Retail. With Kiwi wife Brenda and son of 13 weeks old Guy moved to Christchurch, New Zealand in 1998. Once in Christchurch Guy found work with two large IT companies offering IT Services to small and medium sized businesses. During this time Guy recognised the importance of providing clients with high levels of service and support and identified niche areas of support including electronic document archiving and disaster recovery.

Brenda Bergin   

Brenda has over 30 years experience as a bookkeeper and office administration. Working in Australia, United Kingdom and now New Zealand for small to medium sized businesses.

In 2014 Brenda established Brenda Bergin Support Services, when she saw a gap that needed to be filled for businesses requiring contract office workers who had the flexibility to work with them on their terms and time frames.  While working in the back office for Highbourne Solutions, since it was established in New Zealand in 2005 and working as office administrator for other businesses she was frequently required to edit business websites. In 2016 she offered Website Administration as one of her suite of services.
